Patio & Deck Washing in Sammamish
Homes in Trossachs and Sahalee often have big backyard patios built for entertaining, with pavers, steps, and sitting walls. On the shaded plateau, every one of those surfaces grows a layer of moss and algae over the winter.
Every step and edge on your patio is growing moss
Large patios have more edges, steps, and joints for moss to grab onto, and on the shaded plateau they stay damp from fall to spring. The steps and edges go slick first, right where people walk when they carry food out.
Material-matched washing for concrete, pavers, or wood
Starting at $200 We sweep up loose debris for your yard-waste bin, match the wash to your material, focus extra attention on paver and control joints where moss holds hardest, then rinse and lock joints in place with optional polymeric sand.
A big patio that's ready for a crowd
The pavers, steps, and edges come clean and dry out, so the backyard you built for hosting is ready when the weather turns, and nobody's slipping on the steps with a plate in hand.
Neglected patios need resurfacing, not just a wash
Skip it for a few years and that softening won't stop at the surface — grout, sealant, and wood fiber keep breaking down until the patio needs resurfacing or replacing, not just a wash.

What's included
- Clear & prep. Furniture is moved out of the way (or removed as an add-on) and the surface is swept of loose debris, which goes into your yard-waste bin (anything that doesn't fit is bagged and taken away).
- Material-matched wash. The wash is matched to your surface — concrete, pavers, flagstone, or wood/composite decking — so it cleans without damage.
- Joint & detail cleaning. Paver joints, control joints, and edges get extra attention — that's where moss holds hardest.
- Rinse & optional polymeric sand. Joints are refilled and locked in place if you added it to your quote.
Worth knowing
Washing can loosen already-failing sealant, splintering wood, or wobbly pavers that were on their way out before we arrived. Wood decking may also raise grain slightly as it dries, which a re-seal or re-stain typically resolves.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you clean the steps and sitting walls too?
Yes. Steps, edges, and paver walls that are part of the patio get the same treatment as the main surface. Point them out when you text for a quote.
Should we add polymeric sand after the cleaning?
If moss and weeds keep coming back in the joints, it's worth it. Polymeric sand hardens in place once it sets, which makes it much harder for growth to take root. Add it to your quote if you want it.
Can you pressure wash a wood deck without damaging it?
Yes. Wood needs a gentler touch than concrete — too much pressure splinters the grain and strips its protective layer — so wood decks are always cleaned gently, never with brute force.
My pavers keep growing weeds and moss between the joints — can that be fixed?
Washing clears out the moss and buildup, and our polymeric sanding add-on refills the joints with sand that hardens in place, making it much harder for weeds and moss to take root again.
